"Slow and confusing review process"
I submitted a paper and expected the review process to take a while, but this dragged on way longer than it should have. At first I was trying to be patient, but this is where it got annoying: there were barely any updates, the system felt messy to use, and the emails I did get were vague and hard to follow. After waiting for months, the feedback finally came back, but it was thin and not especially useful. Overall, it was a really frustrating experience

"I’ve found these journals to be..."
I’ve found these journals to be credible overall, and I usually assume the stronger ones set the tone for the rest. But after going through a few, there’s definitely a pattern where the quality isn’t always consistent. Some are really useful, while others feel a little less polished or harder to get through.

"Paywall wasn’t clear upfront"
I found the articles I needed. That part was fine. But the subscription stuff? Not very clear. Prices and access limits showed up too late, after clicking around a bunch. Kind of annoying, honestly
"Good papers, but the pricing gets frustrating"
I’ve used Taylor & Francis Online a few times for research, and to be fair, the papers I’ve found there are usually solid and useful. But this is where it got annoying: if you don’t have access through a university or institution, buying just one article can feel way too expensive.
The open access fees are steep too, which doesn’t make things easy for students, independent researchers, or smaller teams. It kind of feels like useful knowledge is always sitting behind another paywall. The site itself isn’t bad, but the pricing definitely doesn’t feel very fair.

"Support was ridiculously quick"
I reached out for help support got back to me ridiculously fast. They sorted things out quickly, so I really appreciate it.

"Works well, even if it feels a bit clunky"
I’ve used Taylor & Francis Online a handful of times for journal articles, and for the most part it’s been totally fine. The PDFs opened quickly and the downloads actually worked without randomly failing, which I appreciated. The site isn’t exactly exciting or super smooth to use, but at the same time I found it easy to get what I needed. So yeah, not my favorite interface, but it does the job.

"Pretty easy to find what I need"
I’ve had a easy time finding articles on the site. It’s straightforward to use and feels a lot simpler than some other sites I’ve tried, like..

"Login works, but it tests my patience"
I use tandfonline through my university login, and most of the time it does what it’s supposed to. But every now and then it just bounces me back and forth between the site and my school’s login page, which gets old really fast. Usually after a few tries I can finally get to the article, but when I’m trying to grab something quickly, it’s irritating. Not awful, just clunky enough to be annoying

"Search is solid, even if I’m tired of tweaking things"
The filters do a good job of narrowing down papers quickly, which I appreciate because I’m a bit worn out from having to fuss with yet another search tool. Sometimes I still have to reword things a few times to get the right results, but overall it works well enough
